"Crack the code, navigate the endless maze, and escape!"

"Nexus" is a first-person puzzle game where players must explore a procedurally generated maze to find cryptic clues and decipher the code of the mysterious Seed. Every playthrough presents new challenges, with hidden clues scattered throughout the maze. Only those with the keenest eye and logical prowess will be able to solve the puzzle and escape.

The term "Seed" (GameSeed 2024 Game Jam Theme) serves a dual purpose in the game:

Procedural Generation: The maze, clues, and six-digit combination are procedurally generated using a "seed" system. Each seed ensures a unique but solvable configuration of the maze and puzzle elements. Narrative Interpretation: The "seed" symbolizes growth, challenge, and discovery within the maze. Players must navigate, collect, and interpret clues to plant the metaphorical seeds of knowledge that lead them to the exit. In this context, the seed isn’t merely a mechanic but a philosophical and thematic concept, representing both the procedural generation of the game world and the player's journey to escape.
